Not every design project begins with a complete spatial concept. Sometimes a home is to be fundamentally transformed, sometimes the focus is on developing what already exists, or on making a single decision with design confidence.
I accompany comprehensive interior projects as well as smaller, clearly defined tasks. The focus is always on the question of how personal ideas, spatial conditions, and conscious decisions can give rise to an independent design.
A new, holistic spatial concept
I develop individual interior design concepts for houses, apartments, and individual rooms. The starting point is the architecture, the lifestyle, and your personal ideas.
Spatial layout, materials, colors, furniture, lighting, and art are combined into a thoughtfully composed whole. In this process, timeless elements can meet unexpected accents, modern clarity can meet pieces with history.
Depending on the scope of the project, I guide the design process from the first idea through the selection of furnishings to the implementation.
A new effect with what is already there
Not every change requires a complete refurnishing. It is often worthwhile to take a fresh look at the existing qualities of a space and develop them in a targeted way.
I develop design concepts that consciously incorporate existing furniture, materials, and personal favorite pieces. A changed color palette, a new furniture arrangement, selected additions, or a revised lighting concept can fundamentally change the atmosphere of a space.
The goal is not to replace as much as possible, but to create a new design quality through the right decisions.
Selection and integration of art and special objects
For me, art is an essential part of spatial design. A painting, a sculpture, or an extraordinary object can give a space depth, create a deliberate contrast, or become the starting point for an entire composition.
I support you in the selection and placement of artworks, antiques, and special one-of-a-kind pieces. I also guide the integration of existing works and collections into an existing or newly developing interior.
The decisive factor is the interplay of art, architecture, light, and furnishings. In this way, special pieces not only find their place but also achieve the spatial effect they deserve.
Support with specific design decisions
Not every question requires a comprehensive concept. Perhaps you are looking for the right color for a room, want to combine different pieces of furniture, or need a second design perspective when selecting materials, fabrics, or lighting.
I support you with such specific decisions and help you assess different possibilities and find a coherent solution.
The consultation is tailored to your individual question. Scope and fee are agreed accordingly, without this having to develop into a larger interior design project.
90-minute consultation with an individual Design Moodboard
For all those who would like a compact consultation with a clearly defined scope of services, I offer a standalone online format.
Based on your photos, a floor plan, and your wishes, I prepare for our conversation. During the 90-minute video consultation, we look at your space, discuss design possibilities, and develop an individual direction.
Afterwards, you will receive a personal Design Moodboard as well as written recommendations that will serve as guidance for the further design.
